Stockaryd School is an F-6 school with approximately 125 students aged 6-12 years. A principal leads the operations with about 25 employees. The school is located in the heart of the community and has a catchment area that includes both those living in Stockaryd and school transport students from the countryside. We also have newly arrived students integrated into our operations, primarily with Arabic and Persian as their mother tongue. The after-school program is integrated into the school premises, and we have a well-developed collaboration between the school and the after-school program during the students' school day. We are looking for someone who loves working with children and wants to help shape the school of the future together with us.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a music teacher for Stockaryd School. You will be responsible for the subject of music, which includes planning, implementation, and development of teaching for grades 1-6. The role also includes purchasing materials/equipment and developing the facilities to conduct music education sustainably.

You will be part of the school's teaching team and will work closely with other staff and other parts of the organization. You will also communicate with guardians as needed. You are an important part of the systematic quality work and in working towards set goals, and you contribute to developing our school based on LGR 22.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a qualified teacher with a license to teach music. Previous experience as a music teacher is an advantage, but we also encourage newly graduated candidates to apply.

The position is a part-time position with approximately 25% teaching in music.

You are a driven educator and a confident leader with good collaboration skills and a positive attitude. You are creative, flexible, and solution-focused, and you easily adapt to the circumstances. You contribute to the organization with your commitment and ideas and focus on the students and the school's best interests.

Permanently employed staff in Sävsjö municipality are assigned to their regular workplace in case of war placement.

In the event of heightened preparedness, war danger, or war, the employee must report to their regular workplace.
